Quando Rondo's career turned on a single song, and everything since has been the follow-through. "I Remember," his 2018 track with Lil Baby, carried him from mixtapes into a deal with Never Broke Again, LLC, the Atlantic Records imprint, and the song went on to earn RIAA platinum certification. The albums arrived steadily after that, from QPac in 2020 to Recovery in 2023, all of it trap and southern hip hop, all of it under the WMG banner.
He kept score in his own titles. Life B4 Fame and Life After Fame landed on either side of the breakout, the Savannah rapper born Tyquian Terrel Bowman drawing the dividing line himself rather than waiting for anyone else to draw it. He works solo, and the writing has stayed close to that split ever since.
