Quinn XCII is the stage name of Mikael Temrowski, a solo artist from Michigan whose work sits between electropop and indie pop, with hip-hop and reggae influences audible throughout. His catalog traces a steady widening of that palette, from The Story of Us in 2017 to From Michigan With Love in 2019 and Change of Scenery II in 2021.
He built the career from a dorm room. Temrowski started writing and recording while a student at Michigan State University, and put out his first official project on SoundCloud during his sophomore year, a release he credits with earning him an early following.
He records with Mutual Friends and has taken the material to rooms including the Troubadour, Rickshaw Stop and Soma Sidestage. That mix of a homegrown online following and club-tested live sets makes him a natural fit for college programming, corporate events, festival and fair lineups, and private engagements.
