Quintino is the working name of Dutch producer and DJ Quinten van den Berg, who builds tracks for the biggest end of the room: big room house, Dutch house, electro house and progressive house. The back half of the 2010s shows the shape of his catalog, from "Lights Out" in 2016 through "Carnival" in 2017 and on to "Bright Nights" in 2019, a stretch of more than forty releases in total, with his output landing through Future House Music. The through line is the club anthem, the kind of record built to be heard by a field of people at once.
He started early. Born in Den Helder in 1985, Quintino was DJing while he was still in high school, and the sound he grew into stayed loyal to that first instinct for a floor-filler. It carried further than the clubs: his anthems became staples of dance music festivals and crossed into the Dutch pop charts.
That reach put him on the main stages of Tomorrowland, Ultra Music Festival and Electric Daisy Carnival, and in 2019 DJ Magazine ranked him #25 on its Top 100 DJs list. He also works smaller rooms such as Nebula, where the same records read at club scale. Between the festival credits and the club sets, he is a flexible booking for fairs and festival lineups, college events, corporate nights, casinos and private engagements.
