Randall King is a neo-traditional country singer-songwriter working in the classic country and Red Dirt traditions, with an Americana-influenced edge. His 2022 album Shot Glass put him on year-end lists well outside the Texas circuit, landing in Whiskey Riff's Top 40 Country Albums of 2022 and in Billboard's All Genre 50 Best Albums of 2022 (So Far). Into The Neon followed in 2024 and drew notice from industry press.
He came up the long way. King was born January 1, 1991, in Hereford, out in West Texas, and he left Texas Tech to chase music full time, picking up an associate's in sound technology along the way. He built his following the unglamorous way, through years of Texas club gigs, and that groundwork paid off in 2020 when "Hey Cowgirl" topped the Texas Country Music Chart.
King works as a solo artist and wears every hat on his records: singer, songwriter, producer, performer. He has played the Grand Ole Opry in Nashville, Tennessee, and carried the same sound overseas to The British Country Music Festival in Blackpool, UK. That combination of traditional country credibility and a road-tested live show makes him a strong fit for fairs and festival lineups, college events, corporate dates, casinos, and private shows.
