Raury is a Georgia songwriter and performer who works across folk, hip hop and soul, often inside the same song. He broke through in 2015 with Indigo Child, released the full-length All We Need the same year, and returned in 2019 with Fervent. Funk, R&B and indie rock all turn up in the catalog, which now runs well past a dozen titles and sits with the label The Woods.
He came up in Stone Mountain, Georgia. In 2012 he became the inaugural artist signed to the Georgia-based label Love Renaissance, a start that tied his early work to the state's own independent infrastructure rather than to an outside major.
Hang Dynasty appears among his credits, and his live work has taken him to rooms as different as Aisle 5 and Mickey's Black Box, a range that suits both intimate club settings and larger stages.
