Restricted is the stage name of Australian DJ and electronic musician Rhys Sfyrios, and he works at the loud end of the dial: hard techno, hardstyle and hard dance made for a rave rather than a listening room. The records have come quickly since Mercy in 2021, and by the time Dirty Rave arrived in 2024, with releases moving through REVIVE RECORDS, the lane was settled.
He got there from Adelaide. Sfyrios was born in the South Australian capital on 11 December 1999, began releasing as a recording artist in the 2020s, and was touring steadily by 2024, with dates booked out toward 2026.
The charts followed the club rooms. "Tunnel Vision" and "FCKIN LOUD" both climbed to top positions on Beatport's Hardcore and Neo Rave charts, and the live schedule has matched that reach, from Echostage and The Concourse Project to festival stages at Ultra Music Festival and Parookaville.
