Rita Ora is a pop and dance-pop singer whose sound also draws on contemporary R&B, electropop, and pop rock. She broke through with a run of chart-toppers: her singles "How We Do (Party)" and "R.I.P." both reached number one on the UK Singles Chart, as did DJ Fresh's "Hot Right Now," which featured her vocals. She has kept a steady release pace since, from the 2018 album Phoenix through to You & I in 2023.
Born in Pristina, Ora got her professional start singing in London pubs before Jay-Z's Roc Nation label signed her in 2009. That grounding in live rooms carried into a touring career built for large venues.
