Rudimental are a British group working in drum and bass, jungle, liquid funk and deep house, with releases on Black Butter Records. Their breakthrough came fast: "Feel the Love", featuring John Newman, reached No. 1 on the UK Singles Chart in 2012 and drew a BRIT Awards nomination for British Single in 2013. "Waiting All Night" took them to No. 1 again in 2013. The albums that followed, through to Ground Control in 2021, kept the club roots intact while widening the guest list and the range of tempos.
The group came together in East London in 2010, in the London Borough of Hackney, built around a shared love of drum and bass and the collaborative spirit of the UK underground club scene. That scene logic still shapes how they work: tracks built for a room, vocalists brought in rather than fronted, and a live show that treats the rhythm section as the lead instrument.
Core members Piers Aggett, Kesi Dryden and Leon "Locksmith" Rolle formed the original nucleus, later joined by Amir Amor. More than a decade in, they remain a festival draw with lineup slots including Boardmasters Festival, and their touring has taken them to rooms as varied as the Bowl of Brooklands and the Opera House. For buyers, they are a live electronic act with two UK chart-topping singles behind them, well suited to festival and fair lineups, college events, corporate dates and private engagements.
