Rusowsky is the recording project of Ruslán Mediavilla, an artist from Valladolid whose work moves between bedroom pop, R&B, reggaeton, Latin trap, techno and experimental production. He began putting out his own music in 2019, and the early releases Dolores and Liit, from 2020 and 2021, set the template: soft-focus vocals, club rhythms, and arrangements that borrow from all of it at once. DAISY, released in 2025 through Rusia-IDK/Warner Records, is the fullest statement of that approach.
The training came first. Of Belarusian origin, Mediavilla grew up around music and studied solfège and piano from childhood, a classical grounding that still shows in how carefully the songs are built even when the palette is trap or techno.
On stage the catalog translates to rooms like Thalia Hall, Brooklyn Steel and Circolo Magnolia. Rusowsky is a strong fit for college programming, festival and fair lineups, casino stages, corporate events and private engagements looking for a set that crosses pop, R&B and Latin club sounds in a single night.
