Saint Levant is the stage name of Marwan Abdelhamid, an artist working across R&B, hip-hop, and funk who introduced himself to a wider audience with the trilingual single "Very Few Friends" in late 2022, a track that went viral on TikTok and hit number one on Spotify in 19 countries. He followed it with the 2023 EP From Gaza, With Love, then his 2024 debut album, DEIRA, named for a beachfront hotel in Gaza City that his father designed, later destroyed during the war in Gaza. His catalog continued in 2025 with the EP Love Letters.
He came up across several countries. Born in Jerusalem to a French-Algerian mother and a Serbian-Palestinian father, he spent his early childhood in Gaza before his family relocated to Amman, Jordan, in 2007. He later moved to the United States at 17, earning a degree in international relations from UC Santa Barbara before settling in Los Angeles. That personal history runs directly through the work, from the title of From Gaza, With Love to the story behind DEIRA.
Saint Levant brought his sound to Coachella in 2024 and has since sold out rooms like Washington, D.C.'s 9:30 Club, taking his live show to stages including the Princess Theatre and the Plaza Hotel Sydney. He is a strong fit for festival and fair lineups, college programming, corporate events, and private engagements.
