Saint Motel is a Los Angeles indie rock and indie pop band that has been working since 2009. The group's early full-length, Voyeur, arrived in 2012, and by the time saintmotelevision followed in 2016 the widescreen pop rock of songs like "My Type" had become the band's signature. The Original Motion Picture Soundtrack, released in 2021, extended that cinematic streak, and the band records for OnThe Records.
The film connection is not a metaphor. Vocalist A/J Jackson and guitarist Aaron Sharp were film-school classmates in Los Angeles before they were bandmates, and the visual instincts they built there run through the way Saint Motel presents its music.
Jackson and Sharp are joined by Dak and Greg Erwin, and the lineup has taken the material to Coachella, Lollapalooza, and Bonnaroo. That festival-tested show travels well, which makes Saint Motel a strong fit for college programming, corporate events, fairs and festival lineups, casinos, and private events.
