Sarcastic Sounds is the recording name of Jeremy Fedryk, a vocalist, songwriter, and producer working across hip hop, boom bap, chillwave, and downtempo. He introduced the project in 2018 with The Spotify Collection and returned the following year with Rain on Me. Later records, including Haunt You Forever in 2023, hold to the same quieter, instrumental-leaning side of hip hop rather than chasing the harder end of the genre.
Fedryk is Toronto-born and has kept the project running since 2018, building a catalog that now runs well past twenty releases. He is the only member, singing, writing, and producing the material himself, and that single-hand approach explains how much ground the discography covers in a short span.
His work is released through SME, and titles such as I'm a Disappointment in 2022 show a writer comfortable saying the plain thing out loud. It makes for a live set that fits college programming, festival and fair stages, corporate dates, and private engagements looking for something closer to atmosphere than spectacle.
