SHEE is the stage name of Irish producer and DJ David Sheerin, a house artist whose records lean on disco house, filter house, and a French house influence. He put out "Lakota" and "The Player" in 2017, followed the next year with the "Champagne & Guinness" album sampler, and returned in 2022 with "Disco Machine Sound / This Dance Isn't Over," part of a catalog that now runs well past two dozen titles. His work carries the Southern Fried Records name.
He came up in a club, not a studio. Originally from Killarney, Sheerin emerged from the Limerick underground night Touch of Techno, then found a wider audience through uploads on YouTube channels such as Houseum, the route that carried his sound outside Ireland.
That reach shows up in the bookings. At home he has played Life Festival and Higher Vision Festival, along with the Casa Bacardi stage at Electric Picnic, and his club dates include Corsica Studios, La Java, and Sound Nightclub. It makes him a dance-floor draw for festival and fair lineups, college events, corporate parties, and private engagements where a house set has to hold a room from the first record to the last.
