San Francisco-based DJ and producer Slaptop broke through in 2014 with "Sunrise," an amiable slice of electronic disco-pop that registered that June on Billboard's Dance/Electronic Digital Songs chart. The track's exposure was multiplied by a significant factor a couple months later, when it was featured on the soundtrack for EA Sports' popular video game FIFA 15. Similarly bright-sounding singles were released across 2015 and 2016, such as the FIFA 16 inclusion "Walls." With You, Slaptop's first album, arrived in 2017 with guest vocalists on six of its 11 songs. By then, the producer had also remixed several tracks, including Zhu's "Faded," Maroon 5's "Maps," Conrad Sewell's "Hold Me Up," and Big Grams' "Drum Machine."
