Sleep Theory is a Memphis rock band that pairs big, melodic hard rock hooks with metalcore weight, and it has become one of rock radio's fastest-rising acts. "Stuck in My Head" and "Words Are Worthless" both reached No. 1 on Billboard's Mainstream Rock Airplay chart, and their Epitaph debut album, Afterglow, entered the Billboard 200 in 2025. The band won Best International Breakthrough Artist at the 2025 Heavy Music Awards and Best New Artist (Rock) at the 2026 iHeartRadio Music Awards.
It started as one veteran's solo project. After serving in the U.S. Army, vocalist Cullen Moore launched Sleep Theory in Memphis in 2019, and it grew into a full band with guitarist and screamer Daniel Pruitt, bassist Paolo Vergara and drummer Ben Pruitt.
Sleep Theory spent late 2025 on the road with acts including Falling in Reverse, Papa Roach and The Used, headlined across Europe and the UK in early 2026 and joined the 2026 Louder Than Life lineup in Louisville. Their 2026 covers EP, with takes on *NSYNC's "Bye Bye Bye" and Taylor Swift's "Cruel Summer," shows a playful side that lands with broad crowds. They are a strong fit for festival and fair lineups, college programming, casinos, corporate events and private shows.
