Stephanie Poetri is a pop and R&B singer whose writing leans on indie pop restraint more than big-room production. Her 2019 song "I Love You 3000" is the one most listeners meet first, and the records that followed show her widening the frame rather than repeating it: AM:PM in 2021, then Oh to Be in Love in 2022. She records for Broken Levee, and her catalog now runs well past two dozen titles.
She chose this work on purpose. Poetri is from Jakarta, and she shifted her focus to music before starting college, a decision that led directly to "I Love You 3000."
The recognition came early. She won Best New Asian Artist for Indonesia at the 2019 Mnet Asian Music Awards and drew a Social Star Award nomination the following year, and she has performed at HEAD IN THE CLOUDS FESTIVAL.
