Sullivan King is the solo project of American musician and DJ Keaton Prescott, a producer who fuses bass music with live metal into the sound he calls metalstep. He broke through with Show Some Teeth in 2019, sharpened it on LOUD in 2021, and pushed it furthest on Thrones of Blood in 2023. He records for Monstercat.
Born July 15, 1994, in La Cañada Flintridge, California, Prescott grew up on metal and bass, and that pairing fueled his drive to build a sound of his own rather than pick a side.
That sound has carried him across festival stages including EDC, Rampage Belgium, and Veld, and onto a debut Las Vegas residency at Wynn Las Vegas alongside dates at Encore Beach Club. The combination of guitar and heavy electronic production makes him a draw for festival lineups, casino and nightlife programming, college events, and private shows.
