The Pork Tornadoes are a cover band out of Cedar Falls who turn pop, rock, hip-hop, and country songs into a live show. Performing together since around 2006, they built a following on the strength of their cover repertoire and grew into one of the most popular bands in Eastern Iowa. Their debut EP cracked the Apple iTunes Pop charts at #20, and 2020 brought the release of Beard Pop.
That run was nearly two decades in the making, leading up to a 2026 show at the Alliant Energy PowerHouse in Cedar Rapids. The band's core includes Mike Schulte, Mason Greve, Jerry Lorenson, and Cory Talbot, and over the years they have filled rooms like the Hy-Vee Amphitheater at Centennial Park in North Liberty and the Val Air Ballroom. A genre-spanning cover band of this stripe is a natural fit for college events, corporate functions, fairs and festivals, and private engagements.
