Tommy Johnagin is an American stand-up comedian from Benton, Illinois. He got his start at 18 and committed to the work early, leaving college at 21 to chase comedy full time. The years since have produced a string of stand-up releases, including his debut Stand-Up Comedy in 2007 and a Comedy Central Presents half-hour special that put his act in front of a national audience.
He came up the hard way, working rooms like Comedy Etc. in Belleville, Illinois before the bigger stages found him. In 2007 he earned a New Faces showcase slot at the Just For Laughs comedy festival in Montreal, and he later appeared at Comedy Central's South Beach Comedy Festival. In 2010 he finished second on NBC's Last Comic Standing, the credit that introduced his deadpan, road-tested act to viewers who had not yet caught him live.
