Born and bred in Texas, Troy Cartwright is a singer and songwriter whose songs mix the sincere and relatable lyrics of country music, the catchy melodies and hooks of pop, and the passion and fist-pumping anthems of rock & roll. A graduate of one of America's most prestigious music schools, Cartwright has the smarts and sophistication to craft hit songs, but he does so while sharing stories of love and small-town life, and the mild twang of his vocals brings out the honest humanity of the material. Cartwright's debut EP, 2013's Bull Run, helped him win a songwriting award, and 2016's Don't Fade gave him his first commercial breakthrough, while 2021's Halfway to Houston featured a pair of country hits and some of his most confident work to date.
