Group Project is everything one could wish for in a group. A pop boys band, a song-making group, composed of three members, originates from Montreal and strives to expand its fan base on a global scale. Jacob, Jeremy, and Alex blend folk rhythms, funky basslines, rock’n’roll guitars, electronic percussion, and synthesizers to create Group Project’s distinctive sound: alternative pop music with haunting and catchy lyrics. The group’s beginnings date back to EDM & Pop beats in Jeremy’s bedroom/studio. In 2016, the duo started releasing songs on SoundCloud. It was then that Alex Remington joined Jeremy and Jacob to form Group Project, and they began recording their first songs together. Their song “Priest” even reached an impressive number of over 6 million listens, THeir first EP with Spectra Musique, “happily catastrophic,” was released in May 2022, and the song “Alma Mater” achieved radio success. With major performances like Osheaga, FEQ (festival d'été de Québec) and the Ottawa Bluesfest under their belt, the group is now back with their newest EP, “THE BIG PICTURE”.
