Bajofondo (previously known as Bajofondo Tango Club) is an electronic tango musical group made up of Argentine and Uruguayan musicians. Its members are: Gustavo Santaolalla, Juan Campodónico, Luciano Supervielle, Verónica Loza, Martín Ferres, Javier Casalla, Adrián Sosa and Gabriel Casacuberta. Although they are commonly classified as electronic tango, the band has declared and emphasized that their musical work has diverse influences, such as rock, candombe, milonga, murga, and even cumbia. Santaolalla has defined Bajofondo's artistic proposal as contemporary music from the Río de la Plata.
