Breakbot is the French house project of Thibaut Berland, a producer and DJ whose work runs through electro, dance-pop, and contemporary r&b. After signing to Ed Banger Records in 2009, he built a catalog that moved from the early single "By Your Side" (2012) to the full-length "Still Waters" (2016) and "Be Mine Tonight" (2020).
Berland came to music sideways. He studied 3D animation at art school and started making remixes in his spare time while working for production companies, then turned that habit into a signing with Ed Banger Records. His single "Baby I'm Yours" went on to earn a 3× Diamond Export Single certification in France.
Vocalist Irfane is a regular collaborator on the Breakbot project, and the act has carried its sound from venues like La Bellevilloise and The Cause to a US tour date at Randall's Island in New York. That track record makes Breakbot a grounded fit for club and festival lineups, corporate events, casino floors, and private engagements.
