Jesse Itzler is an American entrepreneur, author, and endurance athlete. He was born on August 22, 1968, in Roslyn, New York.
Itzler has founded several successful businesses, including Marquis Jet, which he sold to Warren Buffett's Berkshire Hathaway in 2010, and Zico Coconut Water, which he sold to The Coca-Cola Company in 2013. He is also the co-founder of The 100 Mile Group, an investment firm focused on consumer brands.
Beyond his entrepreneurial pursuits, Itzler is also an accomplished endurance athlete. He has completed several ultra-marathons, including the 100-mile Leadville Trail Run in Colorado, and has climbed Mount Washington in New Hampshire multiple times. In 2005, he co-founded the Althete's Performance Institute, which provides fitness and nutrition coaching to professional athletes and corporate executives.
Itzler is also the author of several books, including "Living with a SEAL: 31 Days Training with the Toughest Man on the Planet," which chronicles his experience of inviting a Navy SEAL to live with him and push him to his physical and mental limits for a month.
