JET was an Australian rock band formed in 1996 in Melbourne. The original lineup consisted of lead vocalist and rhythm guitarist Nic Cester, lead guitarist Cameron Muncey, bassist Chris Cester, and drummer Mark Wilson.
JET rose to prominence in the early 2000s with their debut album, "Get Born," which was released in 2003. The album included the hit singles "Are You Gonna Be My Girl," "Rollover DJ," and "Look What You've Done," and helped establish the band as a major force in the rock music scene.
The band went on to release several more successful albums, including "Shine On" (2006) and "Shaka Rock" (2009), but eventually disbanded in 2012.
JET's music is known for its energetic and catchy rock sound, drawing on influences from classic rock bands like AC/DC, The Rolling Stones, and The Beatles. The band's music has been praised for its strong melodies, memorable hooks, and powerful live performances.
