Joe Nichols is a country singer who has built a long catalog on the neo-traditionalist side of the format, with contemporary country and country pop in the mix. He signed with Universal South Records and released Man with a Memory in 2002, and the records have kept coming since, through Goodbyes Are Hard to Listen To in 2025 and Say La V in 2026. He currently records for Quartz Hill Records.
He got an early start. Nichols came out of Rogers, and he was nineteen when he cut his first studio album, for Intersound Records, before the Universal South deal.
He has won a CMA Award and an ACM Award, and he has been nominated for Grammys. On the road he works amphitheater stages, among them Quarry Park Amphitheater, the Ford Idaho Center Amphitheater, and the MIDFLORIDA Credit Union Amphitheatre at the Florida State Fairgrounds, which makes him a natural fit for fair and festival lineups, casino showrooms, college events, and private engagements.
