Lonestar is the country band behind "Amazed," the 1999 love song that spent eight weeks at No. 1 on the country chart and crossed over to top the Billboard Hot 100. It was one of nine country No. 1s for the group, alongside favorites like "No News," "Smile," "Tell Her," "I'm Already There," "My Front Porch Looking In" and "Mr. Mom," and albums like the double-Platinum Lonely Grill made them one of the biggest country acts of their era.
It started with a group of Texans in Nashville. The band formed in 1992 and quickly won over the industry, taking the ACM award for Top New Vocal Group or Duo in 1995 and later the CMA's Vocal Group of the Year in 2001. Today Lonestar features lead singer Drew Womack alongside longtime members Michael Britt, Dean Sams and Keech Rainwater.
Lonestar is still on the road, playing its catalog of hits for fans everywhere from theaters and casinos to country music cruises, and in 2023 the band began re-recording its signature songs with Womack for the project Ten to 1. With a set full of sing-along classics, they are a natural fit for fair and festival lineups, casinos, college events, corporate events and private shows.
