John K writes pop with soul in the phrasing, an R&B-leaning take on melody that has carried across a growing catalog. Born John Poulson Keyser, he first appeared on American Idol under his given name, then stepped back and re-centered his art before returning to music in 2017 with a new stage name and the self-released single "OT." The Orlando artist has worked solo ever since, writing and fronting the project under his own initial.
