Josh Ross is a Canadian country singer on UMG whose records sit in country-pop with country rock in the mix. He started releasing songs to Canadian radio markets in 2022, and the work moved quickly from there: Complicated arrived in 2024 and took the JUNO Award for Country Album of the Year in 2025, with Later Tonight following that same year.
Music was the second plan. Ross grew up in Waterdown playing football, and after injuries and the surgeries that came with them ended his sports career, he turned to country music instead.
He made his Grand Ole Opry debut in July 2023 and has since played Boots and Hearts, Canada's largest country music festival, along with touring stages shared with Luke Bryan, Jelly Roll and Bailey Zimmerman. He also served as an opening act on Nickelback's North American Get Rollin' Tour. The awards have kept pace: CCMA Entertainer of the Year in 2024, the CMA Jeff Walker Global Country Artist Award the same year, and seven nominations leading the 2026 CCMA Awards. That combination of festival experience, arena support slots and current radio material makes him a strong fit for fair and festival lineups, college events, casinos, corporate dates and private shows.
