Joshua Slone is a 24-year-old Kentucky singer-songwriter whose country-folk songs about love, longing and moving on have made him one of the fastest-rising new names in Americana. His debut album, Thinking Too Much, arrived as a surprise 16-track release on Oct. 29, 2025, with every song written by Slone and two tracks co-produced by Benny Blanco, and it has drawn comparisons to Noah Kahan's Stick Season. He followed in 2026 with Thinking Too Much (Live) and the EP Long Life Living for a Lover Boy, which Melodic Magazine praised for its "genre-blending country-folk sound."
He went from social media clips to a stadium stage in a matter of months. In spring 2025, before he had officially released a song, videos of Slone singing with Zach Bryan drew millions of views, and on Sept. 27, 2025, he opened for Bryan at Michigan Stadium on a bill with John Mayer and Ryan Bingham. Artists including Noah Kahan, Bailey Zimmerman and Joe Jonas have publicly backed his music.
In 2026 Joshua Slone headlined his first run, the Thinking Too Much Tour, selling out rooms including Denver's Gothic Theatre, and he makes his Red Rocks Amphitheatre debut on Nov. 4. With heartfelt, self-written songs and a young, fast-growing fan base, Joshua Slone is a strong fit for college concerts, music festivals, fair grandstands and private events looking for the next breakout name in country-folk.
