Ryan Bingham is a country rock and Americana singer-songwriter, working a seam of roots rock and folk writing under his own name. Fear and Saturday Night landed in 2015 and American Love Song followed in 2019, and he now records for The Bingham Recording Co., which carries They Call Us the Lucky Ones in 2026.
He came to songwriting by way of the arena. Born in Hobbs, New Mexico, Bingham grew up across the American Southwest and rode bulls professionally in his teens, playing his earliest songs for fellow rodeo riders after events.
The Weary Kind, his song for the film Crazy Heart, won the Academy Award for Best Original Song in 2010. Bingham has also performed and recorded with a band billed as Ryan Bingham & The Dead Horses, and his stage history runs from Billy Bob's Texas in Fort Worth to concert dates at Jackson Hole Mountain Resort in Wyoming. That range makes him a steady live draw for fairs and festivals, casino showrooms, college events, and private engagements.
