Lee Brice writes and sings country with a country-pop finish and a southern rock streak that shows up in the way his records are described. He is a Curb Records artist, and 2020 was his busiest stretch on tape: "One Of Them Girls" and "Memory I Don't Mess With" both landed that year. A new album, Sunriser, is dated 2026.
He started early. Born Kenneth Mobley Brice Jr. on June 10, 1979, in Sumter, South Carolina, Brice was singing in church and playing piano by the age of seven. Guitar came after that, and he was writing his own songs by ten.
The songwriting is where the trophies are. Brice won the Academy of Country Music Award for Song of the Year in 2012 as a writer on "Crazy Girl," a year after "Love Like Crazy" pulled multiple ACM nominations, including Song of the Year and Single Record of the Year, along with a CMT Music Awards nomination for USA Weekend Breakthrough Video of the Year. The Country Music Association nominated him for New Artist of the Year in 2012, and he now carries two ACM wins, a CMA win, and a Grammy nomination. Live, he works rooms like Great Park Live, the Palmdale Amphitheater, and The Event at Graton Resort & Casino, which makes him a reliable draw for fair and festival lineups, casino showrooms, college and corporate dates, and private events.
