JVKE is the solo project of Jacob Lawson, a Providence-born pop artist working across indie pop, alternative pop, and electro-pop. His breakthrough "Golden Hour" has since been certified RIAA 5× Platinum, and in 2022 he built out the "this is what ____ feels like" run with "this is what falling in love feels like" and "this is what heartbreak feels like," followed by "this is what christmas feels like" in 2025.
He came up steeped in music. Born into a musical family with a music-teacher mother, he sang at church alongside his brother and studied piano, drum, and guitar. He spent his early years writing behind the scenes before stepping out on his own, moving into a solo career after his videos went viral in 2020.
JVKE has released his music independently through JVKE MUSIC LLC, and his live work has carried him from Providence rooms like Mission Coffee Co to international stages including Seoul Olympic Hall and Toyosu Pit. That combination of a certified hit and a proven touring reach makes him a strong fit for college programming, festival and fair lineups, corporate events, and private engagements.
