Kevin Gates is a Baton Rouge, Louisiana, rapper known for raw, emotionally honest songs and hits like "2 Phones," "Really Really" and "I Don't Get Tired." His 2016 debut album, Islah, debuted at No. 2 on the Billboard 200 and made him one of the most distinctive voices in Southern hip-hop.
Gates built his career independently, releasing a long run of mixtapes before launching his own label, Bread Winners' Association, in partnership with Atlantic Records. He has kept new music coming since, including I'm Him, Khaza, The Ceremony and 2025's I'm Him 2.
Gates has played venues from Red Rocks Amphitheatre to the Fillmore New Orleans, and his loyal fan base makes him a strong fit for festival lineups, college events, casinos and private engagements.
