Kim Dracula is the stage name of Samuel Wellings, an Australian singer, songwriter, musician and rapper whose work sits across alternative metal, screamo, trap metal and hard rock rather than settling into any one of them. A cluster of 2020 releases, among them Killdozer and 1-800-CLOSE-UR-EYES, established the mix, and the full-length A Gradual Decline in Morale followed in 2023. His music is released under WMG.
He came to it from a long way outside the metal capitals. Kim Dracula is from Hobart, Tasmania, and built the project there before the songs traveled.
Jesterpose plays alongside him, and the live show has taken the material through rooms like Manchester Academy 2, Electric Bristol and Galvanizers at SWG3.
