Kylie Cantrall is a Los Angeles pop, R&B, and teen pop artist best known to Disney audiences as Red, the rebellious daughter of the Queen of Hearts in Descendants: The Rise of Red, a role that's made her one of the franchise's breakout stars. She first drew attention at age 11 through her YouTube channel Hello Kylie, and has since built out a music catalog to match her acting career, from "Sad Boy" in 2021 to "10 Minutes Songs (Volume 1)" in 2023 and her 2025 debut EP, B.O.Y., a project steeped in '90s pop and R&B influences.
She came up in a house built around performance. Her father, Alex Cantrall, is a Los Angeles record producer who co-wrote JoJo's breakthrough hit "Leave (Get Out)," and her mother is a professional dancer from Venezuela. Cantrall turned that early start online into a recording career across a string of labels, including Walt Disney, Artist Partner, Heroine Music, and Republic Records.
Beyond her own releases, Cantrall has taken Red on the road as part of the Descendants and Zombies: Worlds Collide arena tour, a 43-city run built around the Disney franchise that made her a star, her character was even turned into a Mattel doll and was last year's best-selling Halloween costume.
