Lil Keed was an Atlanta rapper working in trap and southern hip hop. He introduced himself with Trapped On Cleveland 2 in 2018, widened his reach the following year with Long Live Mexico, and came back to the tape series that launched him with Trapped on Cleveland 3 in 2020. Keed Talk To 'Em 2 followed in 2023, one entry in a catalog that runs to more than thirty releases.
He came up close to the source. Born Raqhid Render, he grew up in Atlanta and started rapping in high school, near enough to Young Thug to learn from him directly, and the influence shows in how he built a verse.
That connection turned into a deal in 2018, when Keed signed to Young Thug's YSL Records and took his place in the Young Stoner Life camp, the Atlanta collective that carried much of the city's trap output through the end of the decade. His run makes him a natural fit for college programming, festival and fair lineups, and private engagements looking for Atlanta hip hop with a real catalog behind it.
