Born on the north shore of Maui, veteran performer and singer-songwriter Glenn Awong, who records and releases music as Maoli, fuses elements of Country, R&B, Soul, Pop and Reggae. In 2020 Maoli won the i-Heart Island Music Awards “Album of the Year” for their record Sense of Purpose” along with the prestigious “Group of the Year”. Since Maoli's debut in 2007 the band has been steadily on the rise constantly evolving and maturing their unique sound.
