Marlo is a Dutch-born Australian DJ and producer who has been working in trance since 2010, with progressive and electronic shading running through nearly everything he releases on World Changing Music. His catalog reads like an artist steadily widening his frame rather than repeating a formula: 2 The Hard Way and The Real 1 set the template, Lighter than Air pushed at its edges, and more recently he assembled a mix for the A State of Trance Classics series, the kind of job a genre hands to the people it trusts with its own history.
He built all of it a long way from where he started. Born Dutch, based in Australia, he has spent the years since 2010 working outward from a home base most of his peers treat as the far end of the tour routing, which has a way of making every booking count.
