NERVO are an Australian DJ duo of twin sisters Olivia and Miriam Nervo, working across house, electro house and dance-pop. Signed to Astralwerks, they built a catalog that runs from "Hold On" in 2013 through "Collateral" in 2015, records that put their own names on the marquee rather than in the liner notes.
The liner notes came first. The sisters have been working since 2005, and the credit that established them was a writing one: they earned a Grammy Award for writing "When Love Takes Over" for David Guetta and Kelly Rowland. They have since added International Dance Music Awards recognition to the Melbourne origin story.
On the road, that writing pedigree turned into main-stage bookings at Tomorrowland, Electric Daisy Carnival and Ultra Music Festival, plus club dates at Ushuaïa Ibiza and Hakkasan Las Vegas. It makes them a practical fit for festival and fair lineups, college programming, casino rooms, corporate events and private engagements looking for a dance set with hit songwriting behind it.
