Nick Waterhouse is a singer, songwriter and guitarist working in rock and roll, rhythm and blues and soul. He introduced himself with Some Place in 2010 and has spent the years since deepening that same ground rather than leaving it, through Never Twice in 2016 and the self-titled Nick Waterhouse in 2019. He records for Innovative Leisure.
He came up in Southern California. Born in 1986 and raised in Huntington Beach, Waterhouse found his footing in the region's psych-garage scene before shaping his own approach to American rhythm and blues, and the band traces its origins to Santa Ana.
Waterhouse leads the group and produces the records himself, credited as a Grammy Award-winning producer and a multi-platinum certified composer-performer. On stage he has played rooms as varied as Music Hall of Williamsburg in Brooklyn, The Chapel, and The St. Augustine Amphitheatre, a range that makes him a practical fit for festival and fair lineups, college programming, casino stages, corporate dates and private events.
