Oh Wonder is a London duo whose indie pop runs on electronic and synth-pop textures. Their self-titled debut arrived in 2015, Ultralife followed in 2017, and 22 Break came in 2021, a catalog built out on Island Records since the group first surfaced in 2014.
The project began as a deadline. On September 1, 2014, Oh Wonder released their first song, "Body Gold," and committed to writing, recording, and releasing one new song on the first of every month for a full year. That collaborative exercise, twelve months of finished work rather than demos, became the debut album and set the writing habit the duo has kept since.
Josephine Vander Gucht and Anthony West write and record together as the core of Oh Wonder, and they have carried the material across stages including the Neptune Theatre, Revolution Hall, and the Fox Theater. That mix of studio craft and steady touring makes them a strong fit for college programming, festival and fair lineups, corporate events, and private engagements.
