Olivia Holt is a Germantown singer and actress working in pop, dance-pop, teen pop, and soul. She rose to fame first on the Disney XD series Kickin' It in the early 2010s, then broke out further playing the lead superhero role in Freeform's Marvel series Cloak & Dagger. She signed to Hollywood Records in October 2014 and put the recording career on the books with her pop debut EP, Olivia, in 2016. The years since have kept her in the studio rather than the sidelines: love u again followed in 2020, and In My Feelings arrived in 2021, through Universal Music and UMG Recordings.
She was performing before she could really remember not performing. Holt started acting and singing on stage at age three in Germantown, Tennessee, moved with her family to Nesbit, Mississippi soon after, and was booking national commercials for Mattel and Hasbro by age ten. That early, relentless start is what carried her straight into a Disney XD audition and, later, a Marvel leading role.
The chart history backs the catalog. Generous reached number one on the Billboard Dance Club Songs chart in the March 17, 2018 issue, and History is certified Gold. That combination, a screen audience built early, a genuine Marvel leading role, and a dance-pop catalog with a club number one behind it, makes Holt a practical fit for college programming, corporate events, fairs and festivals, casinos, and private shows.
