Omar Rudberg is a pop singer who works across Latin pop, soul, and dance, and he records for WMG. He built his solo catalog quickly after stepping out on his own in 2018: the covers project Omar Covers arrived in 2021, followed by OMR in 2022 and Every Night Fantasy in 2024, a run that took him from reinterpreting other people's songs to writing his own lane in Swedish pop.
He came to that lane from a long way off. Rudberg was born in Venezuela, in Anaco, and moved with his mother to Åsa, in Kungsbacka, Sweden, at about six years of age. He came up as a member of the Swedish boy band FO&O before launching the solo career that now carries his name.
Rudberg has competed in Melodifestivalen three times: in 2017 with FO&O, then as a solo artist in 2019 and again in 2022.
