Owen Riegling is a Canadian country artist whose sound sits between traditional country and country rock. He broke through in 2023 with "Old Dirt Roads," a single that went platinum, and followed it in 2024 with Bruce County (From the Beginning), an album that takes its name from the county he comes from. His next record, In the Feeling, arrives in 2026.
He came up on farm country. Riegling was raised in the farming community of Mildmay, Ontario, and the place has stayed in the writing rather than being traded away for something slicker. He won the Boots & Hearts Festival Emerging Artist Competition in 2022, and after "Old Dirt Roads" connected, Universal Music Canada signed him.
The country-music establishment caught up in 2025, when Bruce County (From the Beginning) took the CCMA Album of the Year. On stage he has moved between a seated hall like Massey Hall and a full amphitheater crowd at the Walmart AMP, which makes him a practical fit for fair and festival lineups, college events, corporate dates, and private engagements.
