Papa Roach is an American rock band whose sound sits where alternative rock, nu metal, rap rock and hard rock meet. Signed to Geffen Records, the band has kept a steady release pace into the current decade, from "Kill The Noise" in 2021 through "Ego Trip" in 2022 and on to "Even If It Kills Me" in 2025.
The band came together in Vacaville, California, in 1993 and has been active ever since. That long run is the story here: a California rock act that has stayed on the road and in the studio across generations of the genre it helped define for its audience.
The current lineup includes Jerry Horton, Tobin Esperance and Tony Palermo, with David Buckner and Will James also among the musicians who have played in the band.
