Paris Paloma works in the darker corners of folk, a solo writer and singer whose songs sit closer to pagan and dark folk than to anything polished for radio. She built that catalog quickly. *Cemeteries and Socials* arrived in 2021, when she was still an unsigned name, and by the time *Cacophony* followed in 2024 she was recording for Nettwerk with a full-length that pushed her writing past the acoustic sketches she started with. *The Fatal Flaw*, due in 2026, is the next step in that same line.
She came to songwriting through the art studio. Paloma is from Ashbourne, and she spent her early twenties at Goldsmiths, University of London, studying Fine Art and History of Art before graduating with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in 2022. That training shows in how she treats a song as a composed object rather than a confession, which is part of why the pagan and folk traditions she draws on read as deliberate choices instead of costume.
She tours as a solo artist, and the rooms have grown accordingly: L'Olympia in Paris, TivoliVredenburg in Utrecht, Palladium in Köln. It is a strong fit for listening rooms and theaters, for college programming and festival lineups looking for a folk act with real depth, and for private events where the writing carries the night rather than the volume.
