Peach Tree Rascals are a San Jose group working in alternative pop, indie pop, and R&B. They began releasing music in 2018 and have put it out under their own Peach Tree Rascals label, from Camp Nowhere in 2021 through Does a Fish Know It's Wet? in 2022 and Love, The Rascals in 2024. The catalog leans toward the soul side of pop rather than settling into one lane.
The story starts closer to home than the genre tags suggest. Many of the members are second-generation Americans whose families immigrated from Mexico, the Philippines, and Palestine, backgrounds that shaped both the work ethic behind the project and the music itself.
The lineup includes Issac Pech, Tarrek Abdel-Khaliq, Joseph Barros, and Jorge Olazaba, with Dominic "Dom" Pizano also part of the group. They have performed at The Faight Collective, and the songs translate to a live setting that fits college programming, festival and fair lineups, corporate dates, and private events.
