Phantogram is the duo of Sarah Barthel and Josh Carter, who blend hip-hop beats, fuzzy guitars and dreamy synth-pop into a sound all their own. Fans know them for "Mouthful of Diamonds," "When I'm Small," "Fall in Love" and "You Don't Get Me High Anymore," the last two both Top 10 hits at alternative radio, and their 2016 album, Three, debuted at No. 9 on the Billboard 200. Their fifth album, Memory of a Day, arrived in October 2024.
They were friends long before they were a band. Barthel and Carter grew up together in upstate New York and first played the Saratoga Springs area as Charlie Everywhere before forming Phantogram in Greenwich, New York, in 2007. They later teamed with Big Boi of OutKast as Big Grams for a 2015 EP with production from Skrillex and 9th Wonder.
Phantogram toured behind Memory of a Day through 2024 and 2025, playing rooms from Glasgow's SWG3 to Manchester's Club Academy. Their moody, high-impact live show makes them a strong fit for festival and fair lineups, college programming, casinos, corporate events and private shows.
