P.O.D. is the San Diego band behind "Alive," "Youth of the Nation" and "Boom," a run of early-2000s hits that made them one of the defining acts of the nu metal era. Their 2001 album, Satellite, went triple Platinum, and the band earned three Grammy nominations. They have kept releasing new music ever since, from Murdered Love and Circles to 2024's Veritas, and in 2026 they recorded their 12th studio album with producer Will Yip.
They have been a band of brothers since 1992. Singer Sonny Sandoval, guitarist Marcos Curiel, bassist Traa Daniels and drummer Wuv Bernardo came up in San Diego's underground, blending metal, hip-hop, punk and reggae with an uplifting message before signing with Atlantic Records.
P.O.D. remains a busy live act, opening for Seether and Daughtry on a 2025 U.S. tour and heading to South America with Demon Hunter and Living Sacrifice. Their high-energy show makes them a strong fit for festival and fair lineups, college programming, casinos, corporate events and private shows.
